BONDI ON A MISSION

Mission Statement: To build a legacy beyond ourselves—one that inspires growth, fuels purpose, and transforms hearts for the glory of God’s Kingdom.

Company Verse: “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” - Acts 20:24

United in this mission, we’ll embrace every opportunity and cherish every moment to spread His love, advance His Kingdom, and create an eternal impact that echoes far beyond today.

ABOUT BONDI ON MISSION

Building Bondi Bowls: A Journey of Faith, Community & Good Food

It all started on January 23, 2022—the day I, Bailey, opened Bondi Bowls Edmond store. After months of hustle, planning, and a whole lot of faith, I finally opened the doors to my flagship store. It wasn’t just about smoothie bowls or superfoods; it was about creating a space where people could come together, have real conversations, and feel a sense of community. Before the first customer walked in, we took a moment to pray—grounding ourselves in Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord, and He will establish your plans.” That day, over 800 people showed up, proving that Bondi Bowls was about more than just food—it was about connection.

A few months later, I had a conversation with Pastor Mike Wall that changed everything. He pointed out how businesses rooted in faith naturally create space for deeper connections—kind of like what we see in the Book of Acts. That stuck with me. I realized that Bondi Bowls wasn’t just a brand; it was an opportunity to bring people together in a way that felt bigger than me.

In October 2022, Pastor Mike invited my mom and me on a trip to Tangier. It was a turning point—a chance to step back, reflect, and dream even bigger. I came back inspired, shared my vision with friends, family, and investors, and soon, we were laying the foundation for something new.

By October 2023, I found myself back in Tangier, facing new challenges but feeling more motivated than ever. The journey has had its ups and downs—doubts, obstacles, moments of uncertainty—but that’s the thing about stepping into something bigger than yourself. It’s never easy, but it’s always worth it. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Run with endurance the race marked out for us.” That’s exactly what we’re doing—pushing forward, staying true to our mission, and creating spaces where faith, community, and good food come together.

Bondi Bowls isn’t just about smoothie bowls; it’s about building something meaningful. And we’re just getting started.

ABOUT TANGIER, MOROCCO

Tangier isn’t just a city—it’s an experience. Perched on the northern tip of Africa, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, this place has been a crossroads of culture, history, and adventure for centuries. Once an international zone, Tangier has drawn in dreamers, rebels, and creatives, including legendary writer Paul Bowles, whose time here left a lasting mark on literature.

The energy of Tangier is undeniable. Its bustling souks overflow with vibrant textiles, fragrant spices, and handcrafted treasures. The medina—a maze of narrow, winding streets—hides centuries of stories within its ancient walls. And let’s not forget the city’s unexpected role in World War II, where it became a hotspot for espionage and secret dealings straight out of a spy novel.

But Tangier isn’t just about history; it’s about moments. Sipping traditional Moroccan mint tea in a café. The city’s skyline is a blend of Moroccan, Spanish, Portuguese, and French influences—a reflection of the cultures that have shaped it.

For the artists, the free spirits, and the storytellers, Tangier has always been a muse. Beat Generation writers found inspiration here, and today, that creative energy still lingers in its cafés, galleries, and music-filled streets.

More than just a destination, Tangier is a bridge—between past and present, tradition and modernity, Africa and Europe. Whether you're here to explore, reflect, or just soak in the vibe, one thing’s for sure: Tangier will leave its mark on you.
