The Steele Family
Hi! We are the Steele Family. We have lived in the Portland Metro Area since 2009 but have moved around the US through the years (Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Michigan) and truly believe that Oregon is our home.
Mike and Amy met while in college at the University of Oklahoma, married and had three boys, Jack, Nick and Ethan. We moved to Tualatin where all three boys graduated high school and then went to Corvallis to attend OSU for college.
Jack met Abby their first week at OSU during orientation. Nick and Risa worked together at school and fell in love while studying abroad in Germany. Ethan will complete his college career in June 2022 with a major in physics.
Running, hiking, walking our wonderful, large dogs, playing board games and going to the beach are all activities that we enjoy, and Oregon just happens to be perfect for all of these.
Living a healthy lifestyle is important to us and finding new ways to add healthy, tasty food is exciting. We have always talked about working together as a family and when Amy’s brother told us about his family’s Bondi Bowls food truck in Denton, Texas, we were sold. We believe Bondi Bowls is the perfect fit for us: all natural ingredients with no refined sugar, fresh fruit and a message you can get behind. We hope that by serving our Bondi Bowls, we can get to know our surrounding communities while also helping others maintain good health.
